teamlab's future park | an interactive and collaborative exhibition
Whether technology serves to connect or separate us is up for debate. teamlab’s exhibit ‘future park’ demonstrates how technology can bring us together, encouraging a team mentality to create something collaborative and artistic. The exhibit is inspired by toshiyuki inoko, in an effort to transform his son’s antisocial behaviour.
‘future park’ is comprised of eight constantly evolving installations that respond to human interaction. sasaki from teamlab explained, “we encourage people to start playing together instead of by themselves. everything is interactive and if there are more people, the artwork or play is more fun”.
teamlab’s future park is at the museum of applied arts & sciences from november 24 to april 30, 2018
